Search Engine Marketing (SEM)/Paid Search Manager
YDesign Group is looking for a Search Engine Marketing Manager to join our team in our Walnut Creek, CA or Sacramento, CA office. This person must be passionate, creative, and results-oriented. In this role, the SEM Manager will manage, optimize and analyze paid online marketing campaigns for the website.
Responsibilities/Key Objectives:
• Lead text-SEM strategy including keyword selection, optimization, analysis and day-to-day campaign maintenance for
• Create, track, analyze, and optimize paid search campaigns in Google AdWords and Bing
• Develop and maintain daily, weekly and monthly performance reporting
• Conduct daily, weekly and monthly optimization tasks (keyword expansions, A/B testing, negative keyword management, etc.)
• Work with third party remarketing provider to provide data-driven, analysis-based recommendations
• Budget management
Minimum Educational/Experience Requirements:
• 3-5 years of demonstrated expertise and experience in paid search for direct response
• Hands-on experience with online campaign management, analysis, and optimization
• Experience managing SEM campaigns (e.g. Google AdWords, Bing/Yahoo Ads)
• Experience with website analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics formerly Omniture SiteCatalyst)
• Digitally savvy, with specific proficiency at MS Suite: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
• Highly personable, with strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
• Self-motivated, results-driven professional who consistently delivers high quality work
• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or a quantitative, test-driven field
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with Kenshoo or other bid management solution a plus
• Commitment to integrity, strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Optimize and continuously improve ROI campaigns across multiple ad platforms
• Excellent organization and attention to detail skills
• Enthusiasm for working as a team; ability to establish good rapport with colleagues
• Create and optimize PPC campaigns around promotional calendar and key events
• Monitor and report on the effectiveness of online marketing campaigns with team members
• Can take ownership of existing paid search programs and expand keyword coverage, develop compelling ad copy, and optimize Google AdWords and Bing Ads campaigns
• Proactively identify data-driven trends and opportunities within the marketing campaigns
• Experience running and testing remarketing campaigns
• Google Shopping campaign management
• Keep up with the latest industry trends and capabilities
• Experience within an ecommerce and/or retail environment
• Experience with high-end, niche, or design-driven markets a plus
• Home furnishings, lighting, or bath experience/knowledge a plus
