The Opportunity:
Lumens is looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist to join our team in our Sacramento, CA, office. This person must be passionate, creative and results oriented. The Digital Marketing Specialist is a part of the Performance Marketing team and will support the Paid Search program for Google Ads and Microsoft/Bing Ads (tSEM/PPC), as well as Display initiatives. This role will work closely with the Digital Marketing Manager and is responsible for ensuring all initiatives are launched in a timely manner and executed with the highest degree of accuracy and effectiveness.

Responsibilities:
• Monitor and QA campaigns, promotions and ads to ensure accuracy
• Support and execute sales & promotions in SEM ad copy utilizing customizer feeds, scheduling ad rules and ad extensions using Google & Microsoft Ads Editors; QA daily for accuracy
• Ongoing support for Paid Search campaign optimization through bid and targeting recommendations, keyword research, search query negation (negative keywords), new campaign and ad group builds, promotional timeline, addressing ad disapprovals etc.
• Continuous research of the highly competitive landscape to discover new opportunities
• Produce and maintain daily, weekly and month-end performance reports, plus additional ad hoc analyses as required
• Stay up to date with all the best practices, emerging trends and principles of Paid Search and Shopping programs
• Support other Performance Marketing initiatives as needed

Qualifications
• 1-2 years of demonstrated expertise and experience running Paid Search campaigns end-to-end (e.g. Google Ads, Microsoft/Bing Ads and editors)
• Hands-on experience with online campaign builds, management, analysis and optimization
• Familiarity with eCommerce KPIs, manual and automated bidding strategies, negative keyword match types, bid modifiers, audiences, etc.
• Experience with website analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics)
• Digitally savvy and an Excel expert
• Highly personable, with strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
• Self-motivated, results-driven professional who consistently delivers high quality work
• Ability to work well independently but also able to collaborate and establish good rapport with colleagues
• Excellent organization and attention to detail
• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or a quantitative, test-driven field

Key Performance Metrics:
• Experience creating and optimizing paid search campaigns around promotional calendar and key events
• Experience with campaign optimization and improving ROI or CPA across ad platforms
• Can take ownership of new and existing Paid Search programs, develop compelling ad copy and optimize campaigns based on data
• Experience running Display or Social campaigns end-to-end (e.g. GDN, Facebook, Instagram) preferred
• Paid marketing experience within an ecommerce and/or retail environment
• Proactively identify data-driven trends and opportunities within the marketing campaigns
• Experience with high-end, niche, or design-driven markets such as lighting or home furnishings, a plus
